Despite the recession, Apple is doing great when it comes to financial results as it just announced record profits for the third quarter: 3.25 billions from 1.83 last year in the same time-frame. What’s interesting is that iPads are selling extremely well, almost outnumbering Macs: 3.27 millions versus 3.47. That’s amazing for a product that’s been around for just a few months.
It they keep going this way I bet Apple will become more than a premium brand and will somehow gain market share to match competitors that appeal to mainstream users.
