I purchased this product thinking it would be great but its not all its said to be. Firts off the "snake" tube that holds the iphone is constantly fliiping over. Its not sturdy enough so the iphone keeps flipping to the sides eveytime you make a turn and flips upside down constantly. Secondly the part where you plug the charger into the car keeps getting demaged.On my car the outlet is loose already.Maybe the charger itself is just too heavy to be plugged into the outlet like that. And the last thing is the sound quality when you use the phone over the speakers. Theres a lot of static.

The signal strength is very weak and there is a lot of background static no matter what frequency I choose. I have to turn the radio volume all the way up to hear the iPod whose volume is also maxed out.

This item worked as advertised until the digital readout of the station the unit was tuned to quit working. Now, I have to turn on the ipod and flip channels on the radio to figure out which station this unit is operating on. Not that big a deal as long as you stay on the same channel all the time, but when you travel out of town and start getting static, its a pain!

I really needed a way to listen to audio books in my older car. I was pretty skeptical of this actually working. Well, it works great in the area where I live. It charges my iphone and holds it up nicely so that I can easily tap the screen without holding it. Makes life much easier. I haven't tried charging anything (like my Bluetooth headset) in the side usb port (if that actually works, it will be amazing). So I get good sound, just a little hissing here and there with audio books which you can't really hear when listening to music. It charges the device and possibly an headset. What's not to like if you have FM space available to use it in your area. Awesome Device!
